OUR FAMILY
We are the ninth and tenth of the eleven children. A
long and rich heritage of music making in the family has
formed our love for good music. Our parents, as well as
both sets of grandparents were professional musicians so it
was understood that each of us would learn to play instruments
as well. All of the 11 children are grown up now but
each has an instrument he/she still likes to play. Three of
the eleven kids majored in performance during their university
studies and continue to be active musicians.
ABOUT OUR "KAFFEEMUSIK"
As we were growing up, we were always busy practicing,
learning and listening to classical music. In
an effort to find relaxing music that would balance
out all the intellectual classical music, we ended up
developing a style that fit our tastes perfectly and
provided the perfect change of pace. We decided to call it
"Kaffeemusik". Before we parted ways after graduating
from the university, someone suggested to us that we
record this music and make it possible for others to enjoy. To
our surprise, the CD (Eine Kleine Kaffeemusik) became very
popular and people begged for more. So we have continued to
write this "Kaffeemusik", despite the long distance. Our music
keeps us close in heart, and gives us a chance
to exchange our thoughts and experiences in more
ways than just words.
ABOUT OUR
HYMNS
Hymn arrangements are nothing new but
we hope that our renditions will bring a fresh spirit to some
of the songs you may have heard all your life. It is our
desire that the music does not draw attention to
ourselves, our playing ability, or even the arrangements, but
that the music will cause the listener to think about his
Creator.

musical ideas is just a part of her life and she has been
doing it as long as she can remember. Mary now lives in
Chihuahua, Mexico where she and her husband serve as
missionaries.

years old. She has won several competitions and
